Ivana holds a Master’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Her fields of research include liquid biopsies, oncology, genomics and genetics. Since her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Ivana has not only gained a particular interest in personalized medicine and clinical research, in the pursuit for ways to help patients, but also in science communication and outreach.

Besides her “scientific vein”, she has also a creative side, having a particular passion for music and writing.
