Neuroscience

Hello! I'm Therese, and I study how zebra finches – a small Australian bird - learns to sing. I'm fascinated by communication, learning and social behaviors in animals, which is what lead me to pursue a PhD in neuroscience. I am currently a first year PhD student at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, and when I'm not in the lab or doing #scicomm, I can be found listening to podcasts, embroidering and learning new languages.
