Entomology

University of California Riverside

Hi! My name is Madison Sankovitz and I study entomology, specifically, the ways ants affect soil properties. I study this because I am fascinated by ants' ability to engineer the ecosystems in which they live. In addition to studying, I am a bridge builder for Engineers in Action Bridge Program, a nonprofit organization that builds footbridges in rural, isolated communities of Bolivia and Swaziland.
