New Harvest

I am Research Director at New Harvest, where I help scientists develop new ways to make cultured food. I just (successfully) defended my PhD in Cell Biology at Yale University, and have studied protein structure and function, from bacterial proteins to milk proteins. Most recently I have studied how insects use their immune systems to fight disease.

3D-printed organs could help us heal faster and live longer

Researchers made waves last year by successfully implanting new jaws in rats

Massive helps scientists share their stories

Our members get featured by major publications, invited onto radio programs, and become better scientists. That's because we take a different approach to teaching science communication.
